Ghost Town def'n A once thriving town, especially a boomtown of the American West, that has been completely abandoned. The ghost town on this site, is not in the american west, it is Chernobyl site of the 1986 nuclear accident. This is Elena's site, her hobby is to ride her 1100 cc Kawasaki on the deserted roads in the 30-50 km exclusion zone around the reactor. OK so my blog has lost it's momentum. But then something comes along that reaffirms your faith in blogging. Here's a blog from a fellow called Chief Wiggles, a national guardsman who was stationed in Iran.

Well he wrote in his blog about giving some toys to a little scared Iraqi girl and it has touched the hearts of thousands, who emailed in asking how they could help. The result was the birth of Operation Give, an organization to give toys to Iraq.
