Here's a cool site about How Stuff Works. I was just reading up about Krispy Kreme donuts, amazing. They are coming to Calgary in the spring, near my brother's place. I think his dogs are going to need extra long walks this spring.

On the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we mourned the loss of Jack Matsui. We celebrate the memory of him.

Christmas Day 2003, a day to celebrate the birth of Jesus,
A day for family to gather together.
A day of sorrow, but also hope, for Uncle Jack.
Uncle Jack, sporting a warm “Matsui” smile with youthful charm.
A man with horn rimmed glasses, dark black hair, sharply attired.
Uncle Jack with a nose like my father’s and mine.
A man dedicated to serving his family.
A spirit trapped by an accident, confined, but now free.
I will remember Uncle Jack, every time I see a Christmas tree, or smell a turkey cooking in the oven.
